In 2021 I started a project I coined ‘useful vandalism’ around the village I grew up in. There were a good few tired metal road signs and I felt like I could strip them and re-paint them as a challenge to my newly acquired sign wiring knowledge. No permission, just some criminal kindness. I’ve done a fair few since then and am continuing to do more when I have the time and energy [and money]
