Rapscallion I&II
[Poems from the Archive]
Rapscallion I
Trials are your nature,
boundless your path.
Gravity with no centre,
shadows shade your heart,
As you follow the ocean, deep
are the wounds that chase the sun.
No matter how long you fight your sleep,
troubled skies shall meet as one.
Rapscallion II
And when I close my eyes I still see yours,
in Emerald Green, they stare back at me
And as darkness starts to form
the taste of venom still sweet.
You said a Scorpio knows how to bite,
I guess that wasn't a lie,
this time.
Another darkened room emitts your shadow
and engulfed mine in compliance.
I still don't know what any of it meant,
or if any of it did.
