I'm not big into branding, logos or commercial identities, but I do like graphic icons. I was introduced to climbing when I was young, but I didn't really take it seriously until I turned 18. Now I go bounding once a week with my climbing buddy Marcus. 

There's a little nickname I have for climbers. I like to call them 'powder monkeys' - referencing the chalk used and the dynamic climbing moves. I wanted to make a graphic to put on my bouldering shirt that encapsulated that name. For the graphic I used some icons of climbing paraphernalia to create the image: an oval carabiner, figure 8 belay device and a gym climbing hold. To finish it off I added a bit of texture to represent the chalk.
